Electrosonic's booth featured a video montage that highlighted the company's high profile projects in the theme parks and attractions industry. IAAPA is the largest international trade association for permanently situated amusement facilities. The Expo provides attendees an opportunity to discover innovative ideas that can elevate the guest experience at theme parks and attractions, and it connects industry colleagues from around the world.

Electrosonic showcased architectural projection at our 10th Annual IAAPA Party on the evening of November 16 in the courtyard of the Crowne Plaza Orlando Universal Hotel. Architectural projection features projection systems used to display and animate architectural edifices, such as the façade of a building in this case. In addition to taking in the visual show, party attendees enjoyed food and drinks while listening to live music. It was Electrosonic's way of saying thanks to our customers for their continued support of Electrosonic.
Christie was the premier sponsor for the event and provided the projectors, Mousetrappe created the projection media, 7thSense Design provided the multi-channel media server, JMR Surveying Group provided the digital building survey, and JBL provided the audio system.
Electrosonic's Service Solutions team exhibited at the WFX Worship Facilities show in Dallas, Texas, in November. This annual event brings together pastors, technology teams and facilities stewards of churches and worship facilities with architects, design-build firms and systems integrators, to share information and technologies that are critical to developing worship facilities. Booth visitors learned about Electrosonic's wide range of service solutions, including maintenance and priority repair of products and the cost-effective projector lamp replacement program.

The 2011 winners of the annual AV Awards were announced at a gala dinner on September 30 at the London Hilton on Park Lane. Electrosonic took home the Business Installation of the Year award for The iZONE at Deloitte 3 New Street Square project in London. In addition, Electrosonic was awarded the Highly Commended status for The Secret Wartime Tunnels project, Operation Dynamo: Rescue from Dunkirk at Dover Castle. This recent win takes Electrosonic’s AV Awards total to twenty-four since the event started in 1999.
The AV Awards is managed by the UK based AV Magazine, but judged independently by senior representatives from user companies and key industry players. It is considered to be one of the most prestigious awards in the AV industry in the United Kingdom.

PRO AV and ARCHITECT magazines have announced Electrosonic as the winner of three PRO AV Spotlight awards. Electrosonic was awarded the Best Government AV Project for NASA Kennedy Space Center: Exploration Space, the Best Museum AV Project for NASCAR Hall of Fame, and the PRO AV Spotlight Judges' Award for the U.S.A. Pavilion at Expo 2010 Shanghai.
In its fourth year, the Spotlight Awards recognize the best audio-visual installations in a range of distinct categories. Entries eligible for awards are judged by a panel of editors, contributors, integrators and consultants. Electrosonic is proud to have participated in three projects that were honored with an award or high commendation at this year’s Museums and Heritage Awards in London.
The National Trust Scotland’s ‘Robert Burns Birthplace Museum’ project was awarded the Museums & Heritage Permanent Exhibition Award, the Museum of London's ‘Galleries of Modern London’ project received the Highly Commended title, and The Museum of the Order of St John was short listed for the ‘Museums & Heritage Online Industry Nomination Award'. Electrosonic was the audio-visual systems integrator for all three projects.
The Museums and Heritage Awards recognise and honor best practice within the world of museums, galleries and heritage visitor attractions within the UK and Europe. Winners of the Museums and Heritage Awards were announced May 11 at the Museums and Heritage Exhibition in London.

The Robert Burns Birthplace Museum
Electrosonic is pleased to announce its acquisition of systems integrator Excel Media Systems Inc. The company will become part of Electrosonic’s corporate solutions business, offering meeting room and video conferencing systems with full after-sales services from offices in New York City.
The acquisition expands Electrosonic’s corporate solutions business in the New York tri-state area and allows the company to better serve its international clients with local offices. Electrosonic’s breadth of AV systems knowledge and project management expertise will ensure that Excel Media’s customers will continue to receive the highest level of service and support.

London’s Radisson Blu Portman Hotel in Marble Arch was the venue for the prestigious AV Awards dinner held this year on the 8th October, 2010, with more than 500 AV professionals attending the event. The awards in each category are only given to the best of the best from the AV industry. Electrosonic was the winner of both the Consumer Installation Award, and the Business Installation Award.
The 2010 AV Awards event was only the second time that a single company has won both the Business and Consumer Installation Awards. Electrosonic was the previous double winner, taking the Business Installation Award, as well as the Consumer Installation Award in 2005.
